Test the Nation - but not for Linux users
Kim Schulz, saturday d. 9. september 2006
Tonight one of the national tv channels in Denmark, TV2, is showing a show called "test the Nation". It is the second time they show the program and last time was nearly a year ago.
Most of the show is built aournd the fact that the viewers should take an IQ test online and this way be part of the stats showing stuff like - are blonds more stupid than redhaired.
This online test is a flash thingie shows a question and 5 possible answers + a timer that counts down. Nothing special, but the developer has insisted on that I as a user, needs to have a flashplayer version 8 or more to be able to take the test.
So basically what this means is that all Linux users can't take the test, since the latest version for linux is 7.0.63.
I took the test last year where they did not have this flash version limitation, and I am pretty sure that nothing has changed in the test that needs this extra stepup in version.
Well too bad, I guess I just have leave my IQ out of the test results this year.
